General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stephanie Heidenreich [Counselor] provides her services based on the following General Terms and Conditions (GTC). These apply to all agreements between the Counselor and the client, even if not explicitly referred to.
PSYCHOSOCIAL COUNSELING
I. CONTENT OF THE AGREEMENTS:
Psychosocial counseling is part of life and social counseling and includes coaching and relaxation training. For the purpose of this agreement, these are collectively referred to as "counseling."
The content, purpose, and goals of the counseling process are defined jointly by the Counselor and the client during the initial session.
Initial session: The client will receive the following documents: GTC, Privacy Policy, Agreement between Counselor and client, and Important Telephone Numbers.
By signing the agreement, the client accepts the GTC and confirms that they have received and been sufficiently informed about the aforementioned documents.
The first 20 minutes serve both as an introduction and to provide information on the Counselor’s working methods and framework. It also serves to clarify whether a collaboration (agreement) between Counselor and client will take place.
Counseling is based on the client's voluntary participation and requires active cooperation and engagement. The Counselor acts as a professional process facilitator.
The client is fully responsible for their own actions at every stage of the process. The client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for their physical and psychological well-being throughout the counseling process.
Any actions or measures taken by the client as a result of counseling sessions are at the client’s own responsibility.
The Counselor works with the care and diligence of a professional psychosocial counselor.
II. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS:
To avoid impairments in the counseling process due to illnesses, diagnoses, or medication, the Counselor is entitled to collect relevant information from the client.
If the client is undergoing medical, psychological, or psychotherapeutic treatment/therapy during the counseling period, they are asked to inform the Counselor.
The client is also encouraged to inform their physician, psychologist, or psychotherapist about the counseling sessions.
The client acknowledges that in cases of diagnosis, illness, or medication use, a meaningful counseling process may not be guaranteed.
III. COUNSELING LOCATION:
Counseling sessions take place either at the Counselor’s office located at Heinestraße 36/2, 1020 Vienna, Austria, or online.
IV. CONFIDENTIALITY:
The Counselor is bound to confidentiality regarding all personal and professional information disclosed during counseling.
This duty of confidentiality extends beyond the duration of the counseling relationship.
V. FEES AND PAYMENT:
The current price list can be found at: https://www.beratung-heidenreich.at.
Clients will be informed of any price changes in advance.
Billing is based on each commenced counseling unit. One counseling unit lasts 50 minutes.
Sessions of one and a half to a maximum of two units in one appointment are possible.
The fee is due immediately. Payment in cash at the end of each session is preferred. In case of bank transfer, payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
Preparation and follow-up are included in the fee.
For online sessions, the same conditions apply.
The client agrees to receive invoices via email.
VI. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, AND TERMINATION:
The frequency of counseling sessions is mutually agreed upon and may vary as needed.
Scheduled appointments are binding for both parties.
In case of cancellation, the client is asked to notify the Counselor no later than two hours before the appointment.
Cancellations can be made via phone, SMS, or email.
Missed appointments without cancellation will be fully charged.
If the Counselor cancels a session, the client will promptly receive alternative appointment suggestions.
Cancellations by the client do not automatically lead to new proposals from the Counselor; it is the client’s responsibility to arrange a new appointment.
Proposed appointments sent by SMS or email are reserved for 48 hours (including Saturday and Sunday). If no reply is received within this time frame, these proposals expire.
The same terms apply for online counseling.
VII. FINAL PROVISIONS:
If any provision of this agreement or the GTC is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement and GTC shall remain unaffected.
Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna, District Court Leopoldstadt.
